FAQs

How did I get into this work?

A decade of chronic pain sent me looking for more holistic answers. It wasn’t until I discovered the beautiful + complicated mind-body connection that I finally felt relief from my widespread pain. Learning to slow down + dive deeper into my own emotional world allowed me to heal old wounds + traumas that I had kept hidden away. Our bodies hold onto that shit! And I was ready to explore a new way of living.

Why do I do what I do?

Our (Western/ American) culture is not built for us HSPs. We’re overstimulated, overworked, overindulgent, overspent. I thought for years that something must be wrong with me. Why do I need more rest than other people? Why can’t I tolerate so many things that seem not to be an issue for others? I want to help educate + empower YOU, my fellow HSP, take back control of your own life.

What makes me special to work with as your coach?

I am proud to center my coaching around inclusivity. I’m educated in trauma-informed care + fully supportive of LGBTQIA+ + BIPOC folks in my spaces. I am a mental health advocate + do not shy away from people’s pain.

With a unique background in audiology and American Sign Language, I’m also knowledgeable about various hearing abilities and communication techniques.

I promise to continue walking the talk; I am invested in my own personal growth so I can continue to best serve my clients.
